VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Are you a former PSS volunteer counselor or have you gone through

our counselor training? Do you have 2-3 hours a week that you could

devote to serving Christ at PSS? PSS is in need of trained former volun-

teers who would be willing to serve as receptionists for a short 2-3 hour

shift on weekday mornings. We especially need someone to serve on

Monday mornings. If you have participated in our volunteer counselor

training in the past, please prayerfully consider serving at PSS in this way.

Call Wanda at 919-490-0203 or email her at: wanda@pregnancysupport.org

to set up an interview.

CLIENT STORY

As told by a PSS peer counselor

In late November, a young woman came to Pregnancy Support Services with her live-in

boyfriend for a pregnancy test. When the test was negative, the couple and I began to

explore their relationship to God and to each other. Using some brochures, we discussed

the benefits of marriage and qualities of a healthy relationship.  When I followed up with

the young woman a couple of weeks later, she told me that she and her boyfriend had

decided to get married.  When I called after the holidays, she told me that they had

married and were planning on starting a family!

Please join all of us at PSS in praying for this young couple as they begin their journey

together.

THANK YOU

All of us at Pregnancy Support Services thank each of you who contributed support to

this ministry in 2011.  Some of you wrote generous checks, some donated office supplies,

some brought baby items, and some volunteered time.  Some of you provided special

Christmas support for clients.  PSS could not open its doors without your participation.

May you be blessed, as you have been a blessing to others!
